“O Que Eu Fui” (What I Was) is an installation with photographs of city statues
accompanied with an audio device, through which we can listen to a text, distributed for the different images, where a woman almost dead makes an analyse of her life, ironically judging her happiness, organization and intelligence. Statues, monuments and memory are three concepts intimately connected and present throughout art history and history of humanity.
